Welcome to Stableways.com

The idea behind this store started with a passion for the diversity of various breeds and their colorful histories. The goal of Stableways is simply to present a numerous breeds through photography and art, and hopefully inspire someone to learn more about one or two of them. Or even fall in love. Instead of being dedicated to a specific breed, this store is dedicated to all breeds. What's the bigger picture? After basic costs are covered (webhosting and the such), my goal is to donate money to various organizations, mainly those dedicated to the preservation of rare breeds and the overall well-being of the horse.

A small blurb about me: In 2001, I discovered Fell Ponies and bought my first gelding. In 2006, I spent four months in England, working on one of the top Fell Pony breeding stables and traveling Northern England. Seeing the breed in its natural environment formed inside of me a deep appreciation of the unique breed characteristics that I don't believe I would have been able to understand otherwise. When we visited the various farms, it was like viewing a glimpse of history. When it was time to return, I was offered the yearling colt, Littletree Born Supremacy, whom I purchased and brought home with me to start a career in dressage. He, of course, has his own page on this site.

It's because of that experience that I started this store.

For obvious reasons, most of my photography and artwork revolves around Fell Ponies. As opportunities present themselves, I hope to expand this to cover as many other breeds as possible.

**Just to clarify! Recently, the prices to some items have been wonky. I haven't quite figured out why that happened, but $40 for 10 notecards is not what I had intended. It *should* be back to normal now, but if you see something exorbant, please let me know.
